Trilogy Love // My Favorite Trilogies of All Time

Hi! I’ve decided to do a post about my favorite trilogies of all time, so without further ado, here they are!

1. Red Rising!

I recently finished Morning Star and I must say, this was a pretty awesome trilogy! It’s more on the adult side and full of violence and action!

2. The Hunger Games

Obviously the Hunger Games must be number 2 on this list. One of the most popular trilogies around that has an amazing movie franchise to accompany it. Brilliantly written and one of my favorites!

3. The Clockwork Trilogy

Ah, Cassie Clare and her amazing writing! Will Herondale is a big part of why this is another one of my favs but the other characters and the plot as well.

4. Anna/Lola/Isla

This totally counts as a trilogy and Anna is one of my favorite contemporaries of all time.

5. The Mysterious Benedict Society

The most underrated trilogy is this one. I read it when I was 10 and to this day cannot understand why it’s not more popular. The characters are like middle school age so this is a more middle grade book but I feel like high schoolers and adults could still enjoy this!

6. The Shatter Me Trilogy

Tahera Mafi and her beautiful character Warner! I know there is controversy with this trilogy, but in my opinion, I loved it!

7. Captive Prince Trilogy

This is a total adult romance trilogy full of epicness and after finishing I NEEDED more!

Honorable Mentions:

8. Legend Trilogy

I loved the feel of this world and the complex characters and relationships. The ending though killed me!

9. Miss. Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children

Tahera Mafi’s husband is the writer of this trilogy actually. This trilogy was so unique and different from other YA fantasies and I loved it!

10. Divergent Trilogy

I did not like Allegiant. I tolerate Insurgent. I loved Divergent. As a result, this trilogy must make it on my list.

Do you agree with my choices? What are some of your favorite trilogies?

Pretty Little Liars and other bookish stuff

Hi! So just a little update on my bookish life. So i still have to finish reading Opposition, but i’m not really in the mood for it right now.

I have to read Hopeless, Losing Hope, and Confess by Colleen Hoover

I read The Silver Linings Playbook and watched the movie, they were both really good!

I read Anna Dressed in Blood and am reading Girl of Nightmares currently.

I checked out The Ring and the Crown from the library and will be reading that soon

OMG! I started watching Pretty Little Liars! Now, i’m not one of those mainstream tv watching type girls. I always thought that PLL was this lame show for teenage fangirls, but i started watching the show, and i love it so much! I just finished the 4th episode in season 1 and am looking forward to watching more!

Guess what? My mom didn’t let me see Insurgent, so now i have to wait until the DVD comes out in who know what year. I am still so pissed and angry at her.

I’m going to BookCon though!

I’m so excited to meet my favorite authors and YouTubers it’s not even funny!

Red Queen, Lux and BookCon

Hi! So i read the book Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard! Wow, really just wow. I’m currently reading the Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout, and i’m on the third book Opal.

Anwaaaaaaay, i’m going to convince my mom to let me go to BookCon this year. If you don’t know what that is, it’s this book event in New York, and a lot of cool authors are going to be there! Some of my favorite! Also, i’m hoping to meet my favorite book tubers, Katytastic, PolandbananasBooks and Jessethereader! They’re really amazing, and they were part of the reason why i wanted to start a booktube channel, but i chickened out and started a blog instead.

Guys, i have a serious problem. I’m addicted to reading. It’s taking over my life. I don’t do homework, i don’t sleep, i don’t exercise. All i do is read and eat chocolate. My grades have been suffering in school because instead of studying i read. I keep eating chocolate and have lost the six pack i used to have. I have become completely sedentary and addicted to my laptop.

It’s not even like i’m reading a physical book, i read ebooks on laptop.

I was totally going to talk about Red Queen in this review, but i just want to let my feels out, ya know? I love reading, and if i could, that’s what i would do all day, but i really need to focus on school, maybe getting into the top ten? But i can’t do that if i read instead of studying and doing homework.

After i finish reading the Lux series, and Hopeless, which i still have yet to read, though i read Finding Cinderella, i’m going to limit myself to 2 or 3 books a month. I have read about 30 books this year so far, and i think that if i read about 3 books a month, i can complete my goal of 100, reading more during the summer of course, since i won’t have school.

Sorry, this was kind of a rant, does anyone else feel that reading and books take over their life sometimes?

Thanks for reading!

Colleen Hoover is amazing!

Hello! Just an update on what i have been reading lately.

So, i read Say What You Will by Cammie McGovern, and i thought it was ok.

I also read Gone Girl…wow, just no words for that one.

More recently, i have gotten into the author Colleen Hoover. I read her book Slammed, and it just was so amazing! Colleen Hoover’s writing style, and her character’s are so real and likable! I kid you not, i cried at the end. It wasn’t a particularly sad ending, but still.

From there, i proceed to read the second book in the Slammed ‘trilogy’, Point of Retreat, and i cried once again.

I have just started reading This Girl, and plan to read Hopeless next.

I also want to read Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard, as well as The Ruby Circle by Richelle Mead, Fairest by Marissa Meyer, and We Should Hang Out Sometime, by Josh Sundquist.

Also, have you guys heard about “Shadowhunters” !? It’s the remake of the Mortal Instruments series into a TV show after the movie flopped.

There will most likely be a new cast, and when that is revealed, i will be doing a reaction to that!

That’s really all for today, comment below any book suggestions and your thoughts on Shadowhunters!
