Hi there, so Reg @ She Latitude was kind enough to tag me in the How I Read Book Tag, so thank you Reg!
How do you find out about new books to read?
It used to be booktube, but now days it’s msotly the blogosphere
How did you get into reading?
Hmm, good question. I don’t know. I know that my dad loves to read, (Russian books though). But i didn’t get it from him because i didn’t even know that he liked to read until last year. Oops.
How have your tastes in books changed as you got older?
Yes! Of course. I’ve been reading since i was in elementary school, so at first i read a lot of Junie B. Jones, Beverly Clearly, Raul Dahl, and even some Geronimo Stilton because i remember my brother checking those out from the library and i was so desperate to read that i read his kid books when i was 10.
After i read Twilight and Harry Potter i discovered the middle grade and young adult genre. I read a lot of books like Percy Jackson.
As a teenager now, I read really only YA, with some adult romance.
How often do you buy books?
Whenever something new by a favorite author comes out. For instance, i just bought books this month, and i bought 5 books that i knew already. I also sometimes buy books that i’ve already read, if only so i can buy the second or third book when they come out and so i can have all of the books in a series.
How did you get into reviewing books?
A few years ago i realized that i needed someplace to express my book feels so i considered making a booktube channel, but then i was like, nah, so i made this blog.
How do you react when you don’t like the end of a book?
I scream. I run to the closest person next to me and rant to them. No really, i once finished a book when we had a few minutes left of class and i turned to the nearest person, who happened to be a boy that i was only slightly familiar with and i ranted to him and he totally was annoyed.
Then i go to twitter usually and then i type of my review. 😉
How often do you take a sneak peek at the ending to see if there is a happy ending?
Usually never. Only if the book is really boring and i want to finish it already. Cough cough, Egg and Spoon
I Tag:
Ayunda @ Tea and Paperbacks
Beth @ Betwixt these Pages
Emma @ Emma the Book Lover
And of course, i understand that the list of tags you guys already have might already be long (cause mine is) so don’t feel pressured or anything to do this
And that is all for today. Just a quick little book tag.
Thanks for reading!

This is really interesting. I think goodreads and the blogosphere, as well as IRL reccomendations are where I find out about most books. I don’t buyt books very often 😦 But there is great happiness when I do. I absolutely rant to people at school who don’t know me well about books *hi fives* And I have been known to sneak peeks at endings… thanks for this post!

Books are just so expensive, and if I read about 3 books a week, that’s a lot of books to buy, so yeah, the library is my best friend ;P

Hi Calliope.
Was that you that went off on a book rant at me in class the other day?
No, you couldn’t be THAT crazy.
Here’s to Happy Endings!
Cheers!

P.S. I want my Geronimo Stilton books back.

Hi Calliope.
If the person in question was wearing a black derby hat, polka-dot bowtie, and gaiters, then it might have been me…
Just kidding. I’m far too shy to talk to a real girl!
Happy Reading!
