Panic! At the Disco Book Tag!

The Blogger Behind the Books Tag!.png

I haven’t done a book tag in a while, but Sam @ River Moose Reads tagged me to do the Panic! At the Disco tag a few days ago and since I love Panic and heard one of their songs this morning at the nursing home I volunteer at, I figured it was a sign to do this tag.

The Rules:

1 – Tag the creator (RiverMoose-Reads)
2-Answer the questions
3 – Name your favorite song from each album.
4 – Tag 5+ people!
5 – Have fun!

Album: A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out

Fav song: Ahhh so many good ones on this album, I can’t choose! Ugh okay Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off
A book you can’t help but love
Image result for simon vs the homosapien agenda Image result for anna and the french kiss Image result for six of crows
Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. Just warm fuzzy feelings all around. Also Anna and the French Kiss and Six of Crows.

Album: Pretty. Odd.

Fav song: Nine in the Afternoon
A book that confused you (in a good or bad way)
Image result for lady midnight Image result for confusing YA books
Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare, I think I finished this book rather quickly and just sat there stunned like what did I just read? So I guess confused in a good way? Also Mara Dyer, that ending was a big woah what is going on.

Album: Vices and Virtues

Fav song: The Ballad of Mona Lisa
A book you have conflicting feelings over
Image result for more happy than not Image result for carve the mark Image result for caraval by stephanie garber
More Happy Than Not, also History is All you Left me. Adam Silvera’s books in general I’m conflicted and can’t decide if I love them or not. Also with Carve the Mark, there have been many things said about this book which is leaving me conflicted. Same thing with Caraval, I don’t know if I like it or not.

Album: Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die

Fav song: Girls/Girls/Boys
A long title you love
Image result for if i tell you i love you then i'd have to kill you book
I’d tell you I love you, but then I’d have to kill you. This book was great when I was a pre-teen, I loved this series so much but their titles were so long!

Album: Death of a Bachelor

Fav song: Okay once again, I love nearly every song on this album, but if someone made me choose then…jeez this is hard. Fine, LA Devotee
A great book with a terrible movie

Do I even need to explain?

Thanks so much for reading! Hope you have a lovely day, pass all your AP and IB exams and survive the 4th marking quarter!

I tag whoever wants to do this tag!

P.S. Junior prom is next Saturday! Eep!

The Blogger Behind the Books Tag

The Blogger Behind the Books Tag!.jpg

Hello! I was tagged by Kimsiang @ The Spines Breaker to do the the blogger behind the books tag, so thank you Kimsiang! This tag was created by the Sky Blue Team btw.

To be honest, my life is pretty tame and boring, but let’s get started!

“The Night We Said Yes” ~ A time you felt like you were on top of the world and could do anything.

Hmm, well, I often feel like that after a good run…Running just makes me really happy and after a good workout I feel empowered and fresh and I can’t stop smiling. 🙂

Also, I haven’t read this book, though the cover looks cool.

“Twilight” ~ Describe a time you were irrationally in love with someone or something when you know you shouldn’t have been.

Funny story, I’ve never actually been in love so…I mean, I read all these books where the characters are 16 and in love, and then there’s me…Nope, sorry, life does not happen like it does in the books haha.

“Beautiful Disaster” ~  A place or person that you can call home.

Ok, yeah, my house, (my parents house I mean), bookstores, and libraries for places. I would say school cause I spend more time there than anywhere else, but I sort of dislike the amount of work I receive so that’s a no. As for people, I guess my family and closest friends.

Yeah, I’ve never read this one either.

“Fangirl” ~ Talk about what you love most. Your favorite things, people, books whatever.

My favorite subject! I love all things Outlander, Panic at the disco, the offspring, Harry Potter, reading, writing, this blog, my fictional boyfriends, Throne of Glass, and Percy Jackson. Jamie Fraser is awesome, so are Will Herondale, Rhysand, and Rowan.

“Morrie” ~ Talk about who (outside of your family) has been the most influential person in your life.

I agree with Kimsiang here, inspirational quotes 😉

“The Giver” ~ Do you feel like our society now are headed in the direction (or are already in a state) of a Dystopia.

Hmm. That’s an interesting question. I feel like we’re not there yet, but we’re definitely heading in that direction, which really sucks.

“Harry Potter” ~  Describe a moment where you felt like you where exactly where you were supposed to be, a moment where you felt on the right path.

Hopefully my life is just getting good, so I hope to be able to answer this one day, cause it hasn’t happen yet.

“Carpe Diem” ~ Tell us about a person/experience that taught you to LIM (live in the moment)

Ok, so you always see phones out all the time, especially during concerts recording the moment, and a lot of people get angry that no one lives in the moment anymore, but through their phones. So I thought, why do people record so much of everything? Well, I do it so I don’t forget, so I can look back years later and see all of these pictures and moments and smile back because I may not be able to remember.

But it’s also important to live in the moment, and grab the chance when it comes, because you may not have that chance again.

Well then, now we’re at the tagging part!

I tag:

The Orangutan Librarian

I Just Can’t Stop Reading

Stefanie @ Your Daughters Bookshelf

Lila @ The Book Keepers Secrets

Alicia @ #lovebooks

So yes, that is all, thank you so much for reading!

Soundtrack to My Life Book Tag

Soundtrack to my life Book Tag

Hello! Dee @ The Bookish Khaleesi tagged me to do the Soundtrack to My Life Book Tag (Yikes, back in November).

So yes, I know I’m behind on tags and awards, but I have them all saved on my phone and will get to them all eventually 😉

Opening Credits: Favorite Childhood Book

There are so many, but I’m going to go with Junie B. Jones. Honestly, I think that I’ve read every single Junie B. Jones book. I just loved reading these books in elementary school!

Waking up: A book that got you out of a reading slump

This one! I had a reading slump in September, I think maybe my first one, and Kasie West was the thing to bring me out of that.

School: A Book that you had to read for school that you ended up loving

Animal Farm surprised me in a good way actually. I’m also currently reading Frankenstein in school and liking it as well.

Falling in love: An author you love so much you want to read all of their books

Sarah J. Maas is my current favorite author! Squeal!

Fight: A book with the best action sequences

Six of crows!!

Break up: A book or series that you didn’t finish and do not intend to finish

I read the first one and was like nope. Sorry.

Hanging out with friends: A book that you think everyone else should read

I know that most people say the first book was average, but the first book rocked in my opinion. Also SJM is queen.

Breakdown: A book that seriously affected you/had you crying your eyes out

‘Twas a hard time afterwards

Roadtrip: Your favorite series (More than 3 books)

My babies. Yeah I know Fallen Angels and Lost Souls were frustrating, but City of Heavenly Fire made up for that.

Getting back together: What book can you not stop re reading

Totally agree with Dee here

Wedding: A book that is really special to you

This is one of the first YA books I think I ever bought with birthday money (Yeah I know it’s middle grade technically, but it’s YA to me). Anyway, the spine is so broken from the amount of times I read it and it’s one of my babies

Moment of triumph: Longest Book You’ve Ever Read

I agree with Dee again, but I’m going with the 3rd book in Outlander, Voyager (P.S. remember how I was reading book 4, Drums of Autumn last month? Well it expired on me on live-brary and it’s STILL on hold!)

Death Scene: Book or series that you wish had ended differently

I would say the Legend Trilogy, but since there’s no actual death in the end there I’m going to go with Allegiant.

Funeral: Book with the best or worst epilogue

clockworkprincess

Again, yessssssss, Clockwork Princess!!

End Credits: Who do you tag?

No one! Wanna know why?! Cause that means I have time to tag people and I don’t because I have sooo much studying to do! On Monday I have a Spanish test, on Tuesday I have a Trig test, an AP Bio test, and an AP World essay, on Thursday I have an AP World test, and on Friday I have an English test. Why!? Why all in the same week!? I’m dying over here studying.

Ok, basically I tag anyone who wants to do this tag. I’m pathetic, I know.

So yes, that is all, I should probably get back to studying now 😦

Bye.
