I was tagged to do the Book Sacrifice Tag by Charley @ Books and Bakes and Casey @ Adoptabookaus Thanks for the tag!
1. An Over-Hyped Book:
Situation: You’re in a store when the zombie apocalypse hits. The military informs everyone that over-hyped books are the zombies only weakness. What book that everyone else says is amazing but you disliked do you start chucking at the zombies?
There was so much hype around this book and I just couldn’t bring myself to like it. I had such high hopes because my favorite author Sarah J. Maas highly recommended it too.
2. A Sequel:
Situation: torrential downpour. What sequel are you willing to use as an umbrella to protect yourself?
This book was just bland. I liked the first book, Dorothy Must Die, but this was just boring.
3. A Classic:
Situation: You’re in English class and your professor raves about a Classic that “transcends time”. If given the opportunity to travel back in time, which Classic would you try to stop from ever publishing?
Well I mean though I disliked the Alchemist, it’s a pretty influential book so I think I would leave that one be.
No offense, but this plot line would work a lot more better as a YA novel, just saying. When I read it in high school school freshman year I just remember thinking, wow, this would be a great YA book, sorry if you liked this book.
4. A Least Favourite Book:
Situation: apparently global warming = suddenly frozen wasteland. Your only hope of survival for warmth is to burn a book. Which book will you not regret lighting?
This book was terrible. I’m sorry but the plot made no sense at all. She escapes an arranged matter to marry a stranger who buys her marriage?? Que?

Nice choices, I love reading about books people didn’t like apposed to the usual reading about books people LOVED.

Farenheit 451 was one of the first dystopian novels I read, and I have to say that the more of those I read, the more I wish that dystopian weren’t such a big trend…

Fahrenheit 451 was one of the later ones I read and I was so over dystopia by then actually

Thanks for tagging me. The Glittering Court’s cover is pretty. Too bad it’s not good. Truthwitch, I have seen many reviews floating around, so I agree with you about the Hype. Good thing I haven’t fall for it yet. 🙂

Sometimes the hype makes me read the book and it’s great, and other times, not so much, it was unfortunate that truthwitch happened to be one of the not so much group
