It has been a successful month of 9 books read and 3 books behind on my goodreads challenge. Sigh. What can one do.
So first up this month I read Hopless by Colleen Hoover
Hopless is probbly my least favorite Colleen Hoover book, and not because it was a bad book, but because it shocked me. If I knew what I was going to be reading, I would have read it when I was in the mood for a book like that, as a result, I didn’t read this book in the right mood and wasn’t into it. It was written very well though, so I’m going to give it 4.2 out of 5 stars.
Next I read Dumplin’ by Julie Murphy
I have a review up actually, and you can click here to see my full thoughts. Basically, I liked the book, but didn’t emotionally connect, so 4 out of 5 stars.
Next I read the Captive Prince Trilogy!
I have a review up for the whole trilogy here and I gave the overall trilogy 5 stars.
I also finally read:
Finally I’ve finished the Miss. Peregrine trilogy! Full review for Library of Souls here. I also finally finished Drums of Autumn, Outlander book 4. I don’t have a review up yet, I’m hoping to get one out soon that combines Voyager (Book 3) and Drums of Autmn. But I think I gave Drums of Autumn a 5 star rating on goodreads.
And lastly I read:
I have no coherent thoughts on Cruel Beauty. On one hand, I was so confused and hated it, and on the other hand, I couldn’t put it down and read it in one sitting. So I’m going to give it a 3 star rating. Frankenstein was for school and I’m giving it a 4.5 rating.
And that is all! What did you read this month!?
I’ve been eyeing CS Pacat’s books for a while, they seem really good! Same goes for Dumplin’, although I’ve heard mixed things about it. Congrats on a great reading month!

They are good! Yeah, Dumplin’ does have mixed reviews, mostly because it does deal a lot with typical stereotypes. Thanks! 🙂

Great Wrap up! It seems you had a great month and I’m glad to see that you’ve given Captive prince trilogy such a high rating. I’m currently reading the first book and so far I’m quite enjoying it. 😀

I mean I did like it, I guess I just wasn’t too into the plotline, which sucks

I can understand that. I actually read Finding Cinderella first, so I think that might have made me like it more. I kind of had a preview to what was going to happen.

I mean, the plotline doesn’t suck, it just sucked that I didn’t like it LOL

Haha. I hate when that happens.

I was so confused during Cruel Beauty too! Yet I also couldn’t put it down and read it in one sitting. I’m so glad to see that I’m not alone in that!

Yay, you enjoyed Frankenstein! I did too 🙂 I think it’s better than Dracula.
I haven’t yet bought Library of souls, so I’m glad you enjoyed it because I can’t wait to finish the trilogy either.
