Happy New Year everyone! I know my wrap up is a day late, but better late than never i guess.
I read 12 books in December, making my grand total for 2015 131 books! Because of this, i made my goodreads goal 135 books. I know that i could have gone for higher, but next year is going to be junior year in high school, one of the busiest years I’ve heard, so i may not have enough time to read as much i want to.
Anyway, on with it!
I read November 9 by Colleen Hoover
To see my review of 5 stars, you can click here
I also read My Life With the Walter Boys, Nuts and Deal Breakers
I’d give Deal Breakers a 3 out of 5, Nuts a 4 out of 5 and My Life with the Walter Boys a 3.5 out of 5.
For school I Read:
I finally read Outlander and Dragonfly in Amber!
I’ll be doing a double book review on those in a few days. I think that I’m going to give Outlander 5 out of 5 stars and Dragonfly in Amber a 4.5
Edit: You can read my review on books 1 and 2 here
I also finally read:
Reviews will be posted soon for all of these, but I’m going to give Simon a 5 out of 5 stars, Daughter of Deep Silence a 3, and Between Shades of Gray a 4.5.
Funny story actually, I read all of the Daughter of Deep Silence while i was on line in Universal, and 3/4 of Between Shades of Gray on line as well. (There were a lot of long lines!)
Edit:
Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda review
Daughter of Deep Silence review
Between Shades of Gray review
Aaaaand that is it! Did we read any of the same books!? Want to discuss one of them in more detail!? Leave a comment below!
Lord of the Flies is amazing, I read it like 3 years ago but I still vividly remember how much I loved it.

I think the reason I didn’t like it was because my teacher made us read 10-20 pages a night, (computer paper length pages) and we were so overwhelmed with reading and annotating that we all hated it because of the amount of work she gave us. It’s a great story but we read it in like a week which was waaay too much work.

It’s interesting how people usually dislike books that they were forced to read at school! I read it voluntarily just because I was interested in it and I absolutely loved it.

I mean I usually don’t mind reading for school but I just felt that the teacher was unfair with the workload for this one ha ha

I have such mixed feelings about the twist at the end of November 9! I feel like I should reread it from the beginning now that I know!
