Hi! So as my last December and Christmas ish book tag, I’m going to be doing the Ringing in the New Year Book Tag! The creator, Rae @ Bookmark Chronicles was kind enough to tag me, so let’s get on with it!
The Rules:
- Link to the original post (Bookmark Chronicles )
- Answer the questions below
- Tag 3-5 friends!
Best book/series that you’ve read in 2015
Starting off hard aren’t we? I’ve been quite impressed with the Winner’s Trilogy so far, despite not giving the first two a 5 star rating, as well as November 9 by Colleen Hoover.
Authors that you’ve recently found and would like to read more of in the new year
Diana Gabaldon! I want to read all of her Outlander books!
Most anticipated book turned movie?
Past was Mockingjay Part 2, and Future is Miss. Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children
Name a character that you wouldn’t mind sharing a kiss with at midnight (if there is one)
Rhysand. Hot stuff. Never mind. Jamie Fraser is hotter.
What’s on your TBR for 2016? (Top 5 will suffice if its an extremely long list!)
Library of Souls, Mara Dyer, Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda and many more that i cannot think of right now.
How many books do you hope to read in 2016?
Well this year my goal was 100 and i read one twenty something, but next year is going to be junior year which is a very busy year and I might not have time read as much so I’m going to say 100 again.
Will you participate in the Goodreads Reading Challenge (or any others)?
Yes! I just got a goodreads account so if you want to add me as a friend, I’m calliopegoddess
Any New Year’s Resolutions? (bookish and otherwise)
I just need to stop procrastinating and study more because those Bio grades man.
I tag:
Erm, well no one. I’m breaking the rules i know, but I’m on vacation right now and the year is practically over and stuff…So really I’m tagging anyone who just happens to have nothing to post right now.
Thanks for reading everyone!
I really liked Outlander and listened to half of Dragonfly and Amber and wasn’t feeling it, but I think it might not be the kind of book that you can listen to. The whole series is just quite a commitment!! Was it as good as Outlander?

Dragonfly in Amber** I hate it when I do that. Why is there no edit comment option?!

Ha ha I know, and when I use my phone the typos are glaring

Dragonfly in amber drags on slower than outlander for sure. It could have been definitely been shorter and got a little boring at some parts, but the ending was amazing. It really is a comittment, each book being nearly 800 pages!

Ah shoot. I hate/love it when books save themselves at the end haha. Should have been good all the way through!

Yeah I know what you mean, especially when there’s a cliffhanger hint hint

Hahaha oh gosh of course. Well at least the entire series has been released!

My aim for 2015 was 100 books as well and I easily read about 120 130 so I’m going to raise the bar to 150 for 2016!

I actually got a few books in during the last few days of December, so i read 131. I think that if i see that i’m catching up to 130 quickly, i’ll raise it to 150, but i’m not sure. Good luck to the both of us though!

I know the feeling. When I was reading Dragonfly in Amber I actually scheduled my homework around my reading. Not the smartest decision, I know, but the book was really good (but not as good as the first one)

Yeah, I totally get it, and I can’t wait to see what book 3 does with that cliffhanger from book 2!!

I love the Outlander series!! And you’re right, Jamie Frasier is incredibly hot. :). I’ve only read the first two books. How many have you read yet? And bio. Man. That’s tough. Good luck with it.

I’ve only read the first two books as well, with thr 3rd on hold at the library. Bio is tough, especially AP! Thanks though ;P

I bet it’s tough! I could barely get through regular bio. I have the third, fourth, and fifth book of the series (my sisters like the series as well, so all of the books are at our house) but it’s hard for me to commit to reading something so long, which is terrible, because I really love long books!

I know, the books are so long and when a chapter ends with a cliffhanger and I just need to keep reading, I realize it’s midnight and u should probably go to sleep.

Ha ha, I meant I probably should be in bed, typing on my phone quickly
